EI conducts capacity building for unions in Arab-speaking countries
NewsEIRAF, in conjunction with ACCRS (Arab Countries Cross Regional Structure) held an online capacity building workshop on the 13th and 14th January 2022. There were 36 participants from member organisation from Lebanon, Palestine, Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, and Kuwait.

Egypt: Falsely Accused Journalist Ahmed Khalifa Must be Released
NewsAhmed Khalifa, social news editor ofEgypt 360 website, was arrested on January 6th after publishing a series of reports on workers’ legitimate protests. He was falsely charged with joining a terrorist group and spreading fake news, and remains in detention to date.
